Challah French Toast

I'm a huge fan of anything containing yeast dough! When my grandma made her famous yeast dough apple pie I loved the dough more than the actual outcome and stomach ache was the result of my excessive yeast dough consume(worth it tough).                                            So combining a braided bun and a famous breakfast classic is my ultimative sunday morning jam. 



Challah French Toast( makes around 3 servings): 

  1. 1/2 loaf Challah from your local bakery
  2. 3-4 eggs 
  3. 2 tablespoon Milk or cream 
  4. As much cinnamon as you prefer
  5. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 


Whisk the eggs together and add the cinnamon and the vanilla extract. 



Slice the bread into thicker slices( otherwise they will be too soaked)


Add it to the egg mixture and let it soak for about 2 seconds on every side. 


Put into a medium preheated pan and fry until both sides are nice and crisp. 


Add Nutella and few berries and enjoy your sunday morning!
