DIY: Stretch mark oilApril 26, 2018 by Sarah Moniri
Stretch marks are nothing to be ashamed of and I'm okay to live with them! But everytime I loose or gain weight/ muscles I tend to get stretch marks. Stretch marks don't stop me from feeling good in a bikini but I'm just not hyped about them. Fact: You can never entirely get rid of them. But if you nourish your skin they will faint and no new ones will appear.
What you need:
- 1 cup/ 230 ml Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup/ 120 ml Coconut Oil
- 6 drops of Vitamin E oil
- 8 drops of Frankincense Oil
- 2 tsp Rosehip Oil
- 2 tsp Sweet almond oil
- A glass container of your choice.
Add everything to your glass container and heat in a water bath till everything is well combined. Stir while it cools.
All those oils have massive health benefits and are very smoothing for your skin:
Olive Oil: has many vitamins, including A, D, and K, as well as vitamin E. Olive oil is also an antioxidant, so it might help prevent or reverse damage from cancer-causing ultraviolet radiation. Olive oil is also known to moisturize and hydrate your skin.
Coconut Oil: is a gentle, yet thorough cleanser. The antibacterial properties of coconut oil protect the skin from potential pathogens. Coconut oil can preserve the smoothness of the face by keeping it wrinkle-free.
Vitamin E: it can help reduce the appearance of scars.
Frankincense: Frankincense has the ability to strengthen skin and improve its tone and appearance as someone ages. It helps tone and lift skin, reduces appearance of scars and acne, and heals wounds. It can also be beneficial for fading of stretch marks, surgery scars or marks associated with pregnancy, and for healing dry or cracked skin.
Rosehip: Rosehip oil was found to regenerate the skin, reduce scars and wrinkles, prevent the advancement of wrinkles and ageing, and help skin to regain its natural colour and tone.
Almond: Very gentle oil.
-Try it - its good!!
